On the right-hand side of the page, you will see the following links:

 

Navigation - This is where you are right now.  This section provides you with an overview of the course setup as well as a cheat sheet on how to navigate the online course platform.

 

Syllabus -  This section has the course syllabus.  Review this section for course expectations.

 

Weblinks - The Weblinks area contains links to websites that correspond to each week’s topics.  Course participants should review these links as they complete each week’s topic.  The Weblinks provide participants with an extension of their learning.

Week 6 - Each of these links will take you to the content for the week.  Each week will focus on one of the course topics.

Each week is set up in the same way and has a link on the right-hand side of the page.  

 

Once you click on the week’s link, you will be presented with the course lecture.  Scrolling down, you will find “Additional Readings” on the course topic, the week’s “Homework” assignment, and the assignment which will range from “Message Board” (referred to in the syllabus as Online Discussions) or Online Response Journals.  

 

For both Online Response Journals and Online Discussions/Message Boards, please see the course syllabus for expectations.

 

Online Response Journals should be emailed within the body of an email to the course’s instructor.  The instructor’s contact email to be used for your coursework can be located at the top of the syllabus for each course.  Please write the following in the subject of the email:  Student’s First Initial and Last Name, Course Number, Response Week#.

 

For Online Discussions/Message Board assignments, click “Write a Comment”.  Write your response in the “Entry” section, type in the code so we know you’re human and then, click “Send”.  You can also post a new response or comment on other participants’ comments.

 

Final Assignment - This section presents the expectations as well as any additional information pertaining to the final assignment.  Final assignments should be emailed within the body of an email  to the course’s instructor.  The instructor’s contact email to be used for your coursework can be located at the top of the syllabus for each course.   Please write the following in the subject of the email:  Student’s First Initial and Last Name, Course Number, Final Assignment.

 

If your course has more than one instructor, please only submit coursework, including the final assignment, to the first instructor’s email that is listed for the course on the syllabus.
